LBS established a well resourced library and funds the salary of a full-time librarian to guide and supporting children to improve their literacy skills, as well as encourage them to develop a love for reading books. The LBS library is an engaging, fun and safe space to inspire children’s learning. It is resourced with a wide range of books for children K-6 in both English and Khmer.
Classes are held from Monday-Friday with lessons focussed on reading and writing, as well as regular creative arts classes in music, art and Khmer dancing.
Mr Thoem is also our Mentoring and Leadership Coordinator.
Our librarian teacher’s salary is generously supported by The Hare Family Trust.
