Our Future Organization. together with its partner in Australia, Let’s Build a School (LBS)  is committed to social and economic justice through supporting and improving access to education in rural Cambodia. We believe that education empowers individuals and communities to fight poverty, oppression and to create brighter futures.

In partnership with Global Development Group (GDG), and under the umbrella of local Cambodian NGO, Our Future Organization, LBS currently supports specialist English and Computer Programs at the Rik Reay Primary School, as well as supporting over 50 children to stay in school via our Child Sponsorship Program. GDG is a critical link, enabling the Australian-funded LBS to implement numerous programs and projects at the schools and in the community, whilst allowing donors to make tax deductible donations.

Some of our ongoing projects also include: a school vegetable garden, student mentoring and leadership development, health education, music and art classes, library programs, Khmer cultural programs and teacher training. We are looking to create environmental sustainability programs in collaboration with BeTreed, and introduce a dental hygiene program in 2020.

Let’s Build a School works on other one-off projects to address significant need, often working in partnership with other organizations and NGOs to achieve positive outcomes. These initiatives include providing access to transportation, health services, adequate shelter, improved nutrition, and clean drinking water; all of which can provide pathways for children to stay healthy and stay in school.

We look forward to expanding our partnerships, programs and projects as our funding and sponsorship base continues to grow.

Give the gift of education. Please consider being a part of what we are providing for young people in Cambodia. Thank you to all our sponsors and donors who make this work possible.
