LBS provides children in rural Cambodia with access to computer learning at school. Children are taught to use coding, word processing and spreadsheet programs, as well as learning to type in English and Khmer. Wi-fi is now reliable in the area and has been installed at the school for staff and children (under supervision) to access a wide range of online research and learning opportunities.
Classes are held from Monday-Friday.
Our full-time computer teacher’s salary is generously supported by The Hare Family Trust.
All laptop and XO computers have been donated by various LBS supporters, with special mention to: SCEGGS Darlinghurst, McCullough Robertson Lawyers, Elaine Negroponte, Terry Gillett and Harrington Street Public School, Cabramatta.
