WHO WE ARE?
Registered as a Local Non-Government Organization in Cambodia with the Ministry of Interior on 21 November 2019, Our Future Organization has been established by a small group of like-minded Cambodian and foreign individuals who have a vision for Cambodia’s future that includes a healthy natural environment and an educated rural population.
MISSION / PURPOSE
Empowering communities for a sustainable future through education and livelihoods development; and supporting activities that protect the environment and natural resources that are impacted by these communities.
ORGANIZATIONAL OBJECTIVES
- Improved access to education for rural young people through expanded learning opportunities in their community and at their schools.
- Encouraging greater school attendance through supportive mentoring and leadership programs.
- Educate Cambodians about the importance of wildlife and natural resource conservation for their future well-being
- Cooperate with local communities and RGC to protect natural resources and wildlife
- Aid local communities to find sustainable and alternative livelihood activities in areas where they are dependent on forest resources
